Method : 

Shake with ice and strain over ice .. 

Ingredients : 

45 mls : Bourbon Whiskey. 
30 mls : Freshly squeezed lemon juice. 
15 mls : Sugar syrup.  
tpw : Soda water. 

Instructions : 



To make a John Collins follow these simple recipe instructions :

1. Shake bourbon, lemon juice, and sugar syrup with ice until well chilled.
2. Strain over ice into a Collins glass, or other tall glass.
3. Top with soda water. 
4. Garnish with a slice of orange and a brandied cherry. 
5. Add a dash of Angostura bitters.
