Ingredients :
90 mls : Champagne
10 mls : Cognac
2.0 dsh : Angostura bitters
1 pcs : Sugar cubes

To make a Champagne Cocktail follow these simple recipe instructions:
1. Add dash of Angostura bitter onto sugar cube and drop it into champagne flute.
2. Add cognac followed by pouring gently chilled champagne.
3. Garnish with orange slice and maraschino cherry.

This is a fine place to use sparkling wines. You can use dry midrange champagnes to good advantage in this drink; proseccos and cavas work very nicely, too.
Bitters are the heart of the Champagne Cocktail. They have a pronounced influence on the final flavor. They balance the sweetness of the champagne, and introduce herbs and spices that give the drink a completely different character from that presented by the wine itself.
